Export Competitiveness for Jobs (EC4J) is going to establish three state-of-the-art Technology Centers (TCs) and one specialized Design and Technology Center (DTC) for Bangladeshi manufacturing sectors in order to address modern technology adoption and diffusion to raise productivity.
EC4J, the a flagship project being implemented by the Ministry of Commerce, will set up Technology centers in line with the export diversification objective of the Government of Bangladesh in order to continue to deliver accelerated growth, sustainable development, and better job creations.
Already, Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA) has allotted 10 acres of land for establishing one Technology Center and Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority (BHTPA) has allotted 4.04 acres of land for establishing another Technology Center.
The land lease agreements signing ceremony of the project will be held on Tuesday via Zoom Platform.
Tipu Munshi, Minister, Ministry of Commerce will join the ceremony as the Chief Guest while Salman Fazlur Rahman, MP Private Industry and Investment Adviser to the Prime Minister and Zunaid Ahmed Palak, State Minister, ICT Division will be present at the occasion as special guests.
