Under international risk management framework, Eastern Bank Ltd. (EBL) has been conferred on the ISO 27001:2013 certificate for the compliance of Information Security Management System (ISMS).
Md Towfiqul Arif, Head of Certification, Bureau Veritas (Bangladesh) Private Limited formally handed over the certificate to Ali Reza Iftekhar, Managing Director and CEO of EBL at the bank’s head office at Gulshan on Thursday, according to a media release.
Mohammad Golam Kibria, Founder and CEO, iota Consulting BD; EBL Head of IT Zahidul Haque, Head of ICCD S M Akhtaruzzaman Chowdhury, Head of Communications and External Affairs Ziaul Karim and Head of IT Security and Compliance Muhammad Abul Kalam Azad were present among others on the occasion.
