Bangladesh Railways handed over a cheque of Tk 10 crore 41 lakh to Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) as arrears of revenue tax in Chittagong East.
CCC’s Chief Revenue Officer Md Mofidul Alam handed over a cheque of Tk 10 crore 41 lakh to Mayor of the city AJM Nasir Uddin at Mayor's office on Sunday afternoon.
AJM Nasir Uddin thanked the railway authorities for paying the amount of money as holding tax. He said that Railways are the development partner of CCC by paying taxes on time.
Bangladesh Railway Eastern Tax payer Mohiuddin Ahmed and tax officer Sarwar Alam were present at that time.
