Benapole Customs House has invited the bid for e-auction for the first time for selling motorcycle. They will sell 22 motorcycles through e-auction. A motorcycle e-auction notice has been issued by assistant commissioner Masudur Rahman on Monday.
Customs source said, that Benapole Customs Warehouse (BGB Side) will be sold through a reserved, old and used motorcycle e-auction. Interested buyers can participate in the online auction by registering the e-auction software at National Board of Revenue (NBR) website (www.bangladeshcustoms.gov.bd).
Before the auction ceremony, the catalog of product can be found on the website and can be purchased in exchange for Tk 200 (non-refundable) from Benapole Customs House auction section. For further, any can contact the Benapole Customs House website (www.bch.gov.bd), Facebook Page (Custom House, Benapole, Bangladesh) and the auction section hotline.
Further, the borrower organisation must have updated trade license, VAT registration and TIN certificates. However, there should be updated TIN certificates for individual category bidders. The borrower will have to submit at least 10 percent of the cost of the collateral to the commissioner, customs house, Benapole, Jashore , as per the security deposit from any scheduled bank.
Attested copies of original copy, trade license, VAT registration and TIN certificate will be sent to the Revenue Officer, Auction Branch, Customs House, Benapole during the office within 20 working days by submitting the scan copy submitted through bank draft, pay order or DD.
It is said, 22 motorbike catalogs will be displayed in Benapole Customs House Warehouse (BGB Side) from 10 am to 3 pm. Interested buyers will be able to submit tenders from e-auction software (E-Auction). (www.bangladeshcustoms.gov.bd). After the submission of the tender, the results will be published on the same website, after verification and other documents submitted by the buyer.
Belal Hossain Chowdhury, commissioner of Benapole customs House, said that Benapole Customs House has invited the bid for e-auction for the first time selling of motorcycles. “Next time we auction the imported goods from the port like this,” he added.
