With a view to supporting local media professionals from Bangladesh in the production of high-quality video stories on environmental issues, a four-day environmental journalism workshop was started on Thursday in Khulna.
The workshop was jointly organized by DW Akademie and Khulna University's Mass Communication and Journalism Department as a component of the project "Eco-Frontlines in the Indo-Pacific: Strengthening Local Environmental Journalism in South and Southeast Asia."
The four-day training program will continue till September 2 at Hotel Castle Salam in Khulna. A total of 10 journalists from different media outlets are taking part in the training program.
DW Akademie is an international center for media development of Deutsche Welle's (DW), a Germany-based international broadcaster.
