Every year BTV organises drama based on the occasion of Sharodiyo Durga Puja and Bijaya Dashami. For the first time, the magazine program ‘Sharad Ananda’ has been organised on the occasion. The show will be shown on BTV and BTV World after the 10pm news.
The programme is planned and written by Suman Saha. The programme has been arranged with the lively presentation of young actor Manoj Kumar and musician Champa Banik. Young models and musicians have partnered-up for a fashion show. Warda Rihab and Soni will perform folk songs along with the Chandana Majmudar and Kiran Chandra Roy.
There is a chat show organised with the participation of people who have acted previously on Durga Puja based drama. The popular band ‘Joler Gaan’ has a new presentation on Pitha Puli. This year, a group of dancers, including popular artiste Bappi Chowdhury, will be seen dancing with the music of Debilina Sur, choreographed by Ivan Sahriar Sohag.

Durga Puja special drama will be aired on NTV today at 12:30pm titled ‘Ar Shobi Chhalona’. Subodh Ghosh wrote the story of the drama based on a section of the Mahabharat. Nahid Ahmed Pial has written the screenplay and directed the drama. The drama casts Shahiduzzaman Selim, Aparna Ghosh, Tanvir.
Apart from this, the special drama 'Durga O Bon Jyotsnar Golpo' will be aired at 9:05 pm. Shimanto Sajal directed the drama based on the story of Anurup Aich. Irfan Sajjad, Tanjin Tisha, Sharmili Ahmed, Ziaul Hasan Kislu are the lead actors in the play.

Bangla Vision
Bangla Vision has organised a special programme on the occasion of Bijaya Dashami. Among them are two dramas, a telefilm and a show. Today, the drama 'Bhul Kabya’ will be aired at 8:15pm based on Syed Iqbal's writing and directed by Tuhin Hossain and casts Musharraf Karim and Shabnam Faria.
The drama 'Black Diamond' will be aired at 9:15pm written by Saifur Rahman Kajal and directed by BU Shuvo. The drama stars Apurba, Mehazabien, Sharmili Ahmed, Ananda Khaled, Misti Jannat and others. Telefilm 'Putuler Shongshar’ will be aired at 11:25pm. Musharraf Karim, Mim Mantasa, Nusrat Jannat Ruhi, Waheed Iqbal Marsal and Chandni starred in this telefilm directed by Masud Al Jaber.
The programme 'Jago Durga Jago Ma' will be aired at 5:25pm. Subal Chandra Saha, President, Gulshan-Banani Sharbojonin Puja Foundation and Swami Gyan Prakashananda, Principal, Ramakrishna Mission Ashram will be present as guests. The significance and theoretical aspects of Puja from the sixth to the tenth day are discussed in the program. The event will feature a special interview about the celebration of the Puja of stars. Swarnalata Debnath hosted the program.

ATN Bangla
At 3:30pm, ATN Bangla will broadcast Bangla music show on the occasion of Durga Puja showing Arup Ratan Chowdhury's solo concert 'Trinayani Ma'. The event will be presented by Shemanti Shoumi. At 4pm, the children’s dance show 'Sharad Mela' will be aired which has been conducted by Nahid Rahman. There will be a special dance show titled 'Shardiyo Shashi' at 5:30pm which has also been conducted by Nahid Rahman.
