Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman leaves Dhaka on Thursday, 18 July 2019 for China on a 6-day official visit at the invitation of the Yunnan University in Kunming and Confucius Institute in Beijing.
He will attend different programs at these two institutions in China. Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman is expected to hold bilateral talks of mutual interests especially on higher education, research and scholarship programs with his counterparts and other academicians of Yunnan University and Confucius Institute.
He is expected to return home on July 23, 2019. Dhaka University Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Prof Dr Muhammad Samad in addition to his duties will discharge routine works of the Vice-Chancellor during his visit to China.
