Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman condoled the death of Ekushey Padak winner and renowned architect Rabiul Husain.
In a condolence message on Wednesday Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman expressed his profound shock at death of noted architect Rabiul Husain. He said Rabiul Husain was also an eminent poet, critic, short story writer, columnist and cultural activities. He will be remembered for his active participation at socio-cultural and progressive movements in the country, DU VC said.
Professor Akhtaruzzaman prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul of Rabiul Husain and expressed sympathy to the bereaved family members of the deceased.
It may be mentioned here that Rabiul Husain (76) died on Tuesday in a city hospital.
