Dr. Mohammad Shahidullah Hall Debating Club and Zia Hall Debating became Champion and Runer Up in the Inter-Hall Debate Completion-2023 organised by Dhaka University Debating Society (DUDS) on Sunday evening.
Dhaka University (DU) Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. ASM Maksud Kamal was present as Chief Guest and distributed prizes among the winners at Professor Mozaffar Ahmed Chowdhury Auditorium of DU.
Chief Moderator of DUDS Professor Dr. MahbubaNasreen and Proctor Dr. Mohammad Maksudur Rahman delivered their speech as special guests with DUDS President Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman Masum in the chair. The organisation’s General Secretary Fuad Hossain conducted the programme.
VC Dr. ASM Maksud Kamal greeted all the participants and said the right solution comes out through discussion and criticism on various issues by debating practice.
He urged the students to involve in debating practice to develop themselves as a rational person.
