Dhaka Stock Exchange Limited and NASDAQ Technology AB agreed to extend and strengthen collaboration further.
Both parties agreed to extend their existing agreement for another period of 3 Years, which will expire in December 2027. Existing agreement of DSE and NASDAQ Technology AB will be over in December 2024.
NASDAQ Technology AB will provide its support to DSE to facilitate the Go-live of the new Data Center at DSE Tower, Nikunja, Dhaka through the upgradation of the machine engine of DSE to the new set of technological infrastructure.
The technology provider NASDAQ will train DSE personnel in this regard. After the successful implementation of upgrading the matching engine at the newly established data center, both parties will commence a design study for the deployment of the new version of NASDAQ machine engine. DSE and NASDAQ has signed an agreement during the recent visit of NASDAQ representatives in Dhaka.
M. Shaifur Rahman Mazumdar, FCA, FCMA Acting Managing Director of DSE and Virgine Barbot Managing Director of NASDAQ Technology AB signed the agreement recently on their respective behalf.
Both parties also agreed to collaborate to promote the business of DSE. DSE top management was present in the program.
