A seminar on post language Movement and international language Movement day observed on 26 February, 23 organised by Entrepreneurial Economists club, Dhaka School of Economics.
Speakers said that Bangladesh was created by the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Shekih Mujibur Rahman which started from language Movement. They argued that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is trying her best to improve quality of Bengali language and they recommended to modification of Bengali dictionary if Bangla Academy. They appealed to the Govt.to give Sadhinata Padak to Late Professor Mobasher Ali who was a great researcher, Language Movement, Literary critics and also fellow of Bangabandhu and wrote very important 43 books in life time. He received MTC award from India for literary contribution, Ekushey Padak and Bangla Academy Padak. A Hall may be named in Comilla University as he fought to establish the University during the Pakistani period.
In the programme Professor Dr Anisul M Islam, Freedom Fighter, and Professor of Economics, University of Houstan Downtown, USA was Chief guest.
He praised Dr Yasmin Ara Lekha of Uttara University, PRO VC for contributing a research book on Professor Mobasher Ali.
Designated Discussant was Professor Dr Milton Biswas , Dept of Bengali and former Professor of Dept of Bengali Professor Dr Nurur Rahman Khan said more research work on Mobsher Ali must be done on him and he must get highest contribution as he work on Bonkim, Rabindranath, Nazrul, Greek tragedy , Shilpir Tragedy and dedicated his book "Bangladesher Sandhanya" etc.
Special guest was Adjunct Faculty Moazzem Hossain and Founder of the University of Skill Enrichment and Technology .Head of Admin, Development and Academic Affairs Sheikh Ekramul Kabir, DSce was also a Special guest.
The session was presided over by Dr Sara Tasneem, Assistant Professor, Dhaka School of Economics.
Among others Professor Dr Muhammad Mahboob Ali, Economist, IT specialist and Entrepreneurial specialist, Rehana Parvin, Assistant Professor, DScE and Shamim Ahmad , Lecturer, DScE ,Jamal Hossain ,President Entrepreneurial Economists club and Director (Admin) ,BASTOB also spoke in this occasion and paid tribute martyrs and those who attend in the language Movement.
