Entrepreneurial economists have advised to prepare everyone to face the challenges of the fifth industrial revolution. Besides, they opined that employment opportunities can be created only by acquiring necessary skills.Without wasting time, students should attend classes regularly and prepare themselves to face global challenges said by experts.
On Sunday, the Entrepreneurial Economics Programme of Dhaka School of Economics, a Constituent institution of the Dhaka University, organized a discussion on the fifth industrial revolution and the role of studying Entrepreneurial Economics.
Professor Dr KS Gupta was present at the event as the chief guest from India. Dr Shamima Haque was the Keynote presenter. And as a special guest, Dr. Sardana Khan was present from Australia. She said that the job market should not be limited to the country's borders but should be thought of internationally. And guest of honor was Dr. Pranjol Kumar Pukhan from India.
The discussion program was chaired by the Honorable Coordinator of the Entrepreneurial Economics Programme, Economist Professor Dr. Muhammad Mahboob Ali. Professor Ali said that industry 5.0 is helpful for the present government's desire to prepre smart Bangladesh where smart humanistic approach may be included as fisth pilla besides present fourt pillars.
Besides, it was also commented in the program that some leftists are inciting students to protest against the current government. The speakers said that the leftists are conspiring to ruin the image of the educational institutions of the country. Apart from this, it was further informed that institutions like Dhaka School of Economics should be kept with financial grants and should be converted into public universities, said the speakers.
In addition, Entrepreneurial Economics program teacher Rehena Parveen gave the opening speech. And designated discussion was Dr Sara Tasnim.
