Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) has formed an eight-member committee to investigate the Bangabazar inferno that took place on Tuesday morning.
The information was disclosed on Tuesday in an office order signed by the DSCC Secretary Akramuzzaman.
The committee has also been asked to find out the cause of the fire, assess the amount of damage and prepare the list of affected persons.
The committee convened by Marina Nazneen, regional executive officer, Region-1 of South City Corporation, has been asked to submit the report within the next three days.
The other members of the committee are - Farid Uddin Ahmad Ratan, Roksana Islam Chameli, Ariful Haque, Md Russel Sabrin, Md Khairul Baker, Mohammad Mominur Rahman and Akanda Mohammad Faisal Uddin.
