Dry weather likely

Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Wednesday predicted that weather would remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, reports BSS.  “Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, having chances of rain or thundershowers at one or two places over Rajshahi, Khulna and Dhaka divisions,” said a Met office press release.

Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country during the period, it added. The highest temperature on Tuesday was recorded 31.4 degrees Celsius at Khepupara in Barishal and Jashore. Wednesday’s minimum temperature was recorded 12.6 degrees Celsius at Srimangal in Sylhet. The sun sets at 6:06 pm on Wednesday and rises at 6:10 am today (Thursday) in the capital.
