Dry weather likely

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Friday predicted that weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky having chances of light rain or drizzle at one or two places over northwestern part of the country.

Light to moderate fog may occur at one or two places over the country, said a met office bulletin. Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the bulletin added.

Country’s maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded 29.2 degrees Celsius at Cox’s Bazar in Chattogram division while Friday’s minimum temperature was recorded 11.0 degrees Celsius at Srimangal in Sylhet division and Tetulia in Rangpur division. The sun sets at 5.12pm on Friday and rises at 6.32am today (Saturday) in the capital.
