Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-14 have arrested a drug trader with 3840 pieces of yaba tablets in Brahmanbaria. The detainee was identified as Shakil Khandker, 45, son of Jan Mia Khandaker of Pyattala area of Brahmanbaria.
This information was confirmed at a press conference at Brahmanbaria Press Club on Friday. Rafiquddin Mohammad Jubair, Senior Assistant Director of Bhairab camp of RAB, read out the written statement at the press conference. He said that on the basis of secret information, the drug trader was arrested on Thursday night from his house at Pyattala area in the district town.
