Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) detained a drug peddler with heroin and a motorcycle at Sadipur border area in Benapole on Wednesday. The detainee was identified as Kabir Hossain, 45, son of Ershad Ali, hailed from Sadipur village under Benapole Port Police Station.
Benapole ICP BGB Company Commander Subedar Abdul Wahab confirmed the matter. Acting on a tip-off, led by Naik of Sadipur Potapost Sadek Hossain conducted a drive and detained drug peddler Kabir Hossain with heroin and a motorcycle. Later, he was handed over to Benapole Port Police Station.
