Bangladesh Metorogical Department has predicted that light rain or drizzle might occur in different parts of the country today (Thursday). The Met office made the prediction on Wednesday.
“Light rain or drizzle is likely to occur at a few places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions,” said a met office bulletin issued on Wednesday morning.
According to the bulletin, light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country from midnight to Thursday morning. Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it added.
The highest temperature in the country on Tuesday was recorded 26.5 degrees Celsius in Kutubdia under Chattogram division, while Wednesday’s minimum temperature was recorded 09.1 degrees Celsius in Tetulia under Rangpur division. The sun sets at 5:42 pm on yesterday (Wednesday) and rises at 6:40 am today (Thursday) in the capital.
