Fisheries officials of Chattogram district have raided three super shops, two raw markets and a few ghats in the port city.
Three teams led by the Chattogram District Fisheries Officer conducted the operation on Thursday afternoon.
Under the leadership of District Fisheries Officer Farhana Lovely, the raids were carried out on shopping bags, Swapna, Agora Super Shop, Kazir Deuri and Bahaddarhat Raw Market in the city.
Among them, 30 kg of jelly-pushed shrimps were seized at Bahaddarhat fish market. At that time one person was fined five
thousand taka.
