DRC delegation visits UDDIPAN projects

A 5-member delegation of Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) visited different projects of United Development Initiatives for Programmed Actions (UDDIPAN) on Monday last.

The DRC delegates are foreign ministry official Tenday Luaba, there officials from water resources ministry Jean Pierre Otshumbe, Theodre Boniface Socrates Kabeya and Jonas Didier Ntaku, and policy expert of the President’s office Dadou Kapandji.

UDDIPAN chairman Mihir Kanti Majumder, Honourary Consul (Designate) of DRC in Dhaka Nazir Alam and ED and CEO of UDDIPAN Bidyut Kumar Basu welcomed the DRC delegation.

Later they visited microcredit and water projects of UDDIPAN at Daserkandi and Vakurta Project at Savar in the outskirt of the capital Dhaka.

The DRC delegation termed UDDIPAN’s various projects a milestone in curbing poverty.
