Drama staged on Aug 15 incident

An extraordinary initiative on murder of Father of the Nation

State Minister for Culture KM Khalid has said that the drama 'Neta Je Rate Nihato Holen’ (The night when the leader was killed) composed on the murder of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman is an extraordinary initiative. 

Such brutal murder did not occur in any other country. He further said that Imdadul Haque Milon had composed the drama with heavy pangs in his heart.

Recalling the day of 15th August, the State Minister said, “I had been listening  with deep attention the news of BBC Bangla and contemplating there will be an announcement that the news is fake! Today, the unfinished works of the Father of Nation are being implemented by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, that is why, we are now standing steadfast in the world-stage.”

State Minister KM Khalid was speaking as the chief guest at a function organised during the staging of the much discussed drama 'Neta Je Rate Nihato Holen' by Imdadul Haque Milon initiated by 'Dhaka Sangbadik Paribar Bohumukhi Samabaya Samity Limited' at the Jatiya Natyashala of Bangladesh Shilpakal Academy on Sunday.

The drama was formally inaugurated by renowned Novelist, Dramatist Imdadul Haque Milon while Vice-President of FBCCI Dr Joshoda Jibin Debnath, President of BFUJ Omor Faruk, former Information Adviser to Prime Minister Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury, former BJUJ President Monjurul Ahsan Bulbul, former DUJ President Quddus Afrad, former DUJ General Secretary Azizul Islam Bhuiya and Sajjad Alam Khan Topu attended as special guests.

Chaired by the President of Dhaka Sangbadik Paribar Bohumukhi Samabaya Samity Limited (DSPBSSL) Mohammad Al-Mamun, the function was operated by the Secretary of DSPBSSL and Editor of Dainik Bangladesher Alo Mofizur Rahman Khan Babu.
