Professor Dr. Kabir Hossain joined as Pro-Vice-Chancellor of Shahjalal Science and Technology University.
He joined the presence of the Vice-Chancellor On Monday after publishing a notice by the deputy secretary of the Ministry of Education On Monday signed by Rokhshana Akhtar.
According to the notification published earlier, with the approval of His Excellency the President and Chancellor, according to Section 13 (1) of the Shahjalal University of Science and Technology Act, 1987. Md. Kabir Hossain, Professor, Department of Statistics, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet, has been appointed as Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the said University under the following conditions.
After taking charge as the new Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Kabir Hossain said, I will try to do everything possible for the overall welfare of the university. I will work on how to increase the opportunities of every member of the university family. Will always try to keep the overall environment of the university beautiful including education. I want everyone's cooperation and prayers to fulfill this responsibility successfully. He expressed his gratitude to the President, Prime Minister and University Vice-Chancellor for entrusting him with this responsibility.
