Dr Mohammad Jahangir Alam Chowdhury has been appointed as the new Civil Surgeon of Chattogram district. Earlier, he served as the Assistant Director of Chattogram Medical College Hospital.
Chattogram District Civil Surgeon Dr Mohammad Ilias was made OSD (Office on Special Duty) of Directorate General of Health Services and appointed as the Assistant Director of Institute of Health Technology (IHT) in Sreenagar Upazila of Munshiganj.
On the other hand, Assistant Director of Institute of Health Technology (IHT) in Sreenagar Upazila of Munshiganj, Dr Jahagir Alam, was appointed as the new Civil Surgeon of Chattogram.
The matter was confirmed in a notification signed by Senior Assistant Secretary of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Md Abu Raihan Dolan by the order of the President on Tuesday.
It is mentionable that Dr Mohammad Jahangir Alam Chowdhury is the son of Mostafizur Rahman Chowdhury and Kamrunnahar, resident of Sorol village in Banskhali Upazila. Dr Mohammad Jahangir Alam passed the 24th BCS exam and joined government service as a doctor.
Earlier, he served as the Medical Officer of Banshakhali and Pekua Upazila Health Complex and Family Planning Officer of Kutubdia Upazila.
