DPHE Chief Engineer pays tribute to Bangabandhu

Chief Engineer of the Department of Public Health Engineering Md. Saifur Rahman paid homage at the tomb of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Tungipara in Gopalganj. 

He laid a wreath at the altar of Bangabandhu Mausoleum and paid his deep respects after arriving at Tungipara on Friday.

Later he offered prayer for the forgiveness of the souls of Banga­bandhu and his family and all the martyrs killed On 

15 August, 1975. Department of Public Health Engineering Additional Chief Engineer Tushar Mohan Sadhukha, Md. Sarwar Hossain, Md. Wahidul Islam, project director Md. Shafiqul Hasan, Md. Nazrul Islam, Gopalganj District Awami League General Secretary Mahabub Ali Khan, Municipal Mayor Kazi Liaquat Ali, Tungipara Municipal Mayor Sheikh Tozammel Haque Tutul, District Public Health Engineering Depart­ment Executive Engineer Deepak Chandra Talukder, Tungipara Upa­zila Awami League General Secretary Md. Babul Sheikh, Depart­ment of Public Health Engineering, 1st class contractor and prominent industrialist Alhaj Md. Kamal Sikder, contractor Md. Saiful Islam, officers and emplo­yees of the concerned department including were present.

Later, the chief engineer signed the inspection book preserved in Bangabandhu Bhaban. 

He then visited the Gopalganj District Public Health Engineering Department and exchanged views with the engineers, officers and employees of the concerned departments and inquired about various ongoing projects.
