With the slogan ‘Easier Charging, Pollution-free Driving’, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Dhaka Power Distribution Company Limited (DPDC) and Messers S.R. Enterprise to set up Electric Vehicles Charging Stations.
The MoU signing function was held at the conference room of DPDC of the Power Development building on Thursday (November 2, 2023).
The MoU was signed by DPDC Secretary (Deputy Secretary) Md Asaduzzaman and Chief Executive Officer of Messers S.R. Enterprise Khandker Ashikuzzaman.
Engineer Bikash Dewan, Managing Director of DPDC, attended the function as the chief guest.
In his speech, Bikash Dewan emphasised upon an increased use of electric vehicles to counter the adverse impact of Climate Change and to decrease Carbon emissions. He also called upon various organisations to take assistance of DPDC to set up Charging stations.
Khandker Moshiuzzaman Romel, Chairman of People's Group, attended the function as the special guest. He emphasised upon the cooperation among all concerned parties involved in the renewable energy sector.
Khandker Ashikuzzaman, CEO of S.R. Enterprise, assured of building a Carbon emission and pollution-free, green, sustainable future. The Executive Director, Chief Engineers and High ranking officials of DPDC were present at the function, among others.
