Dope test must for newly recruited school teachers

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS)has decided to conduct dope tests along with health tests for the newly recruited teachers in government schools from now on.

A government order, as a notice, signed by Md Farid Hossain, Director of the hospital and clinic department of DGHS, has been issued recently regarding this.

In the notice, dope-test has been made mandatory with the health examination of 2,121 newly-appointed teachers by the Public Service Commission (PSC).

There, it is said that the health examination is recommended to be taken for the assistant teachers in government secondary schools from July 4 to July 12, as per the schedule. However, this time it was requested to send the dope-test report along with the X-ray, urine and eye test report to the department.

In the recruitment process, all the candidates in the eight subjects of Mathematics, Physical Education, Geography, Business Education, Agricultural Education, English, Social Science and Physics have been nominated for the health examination. 

In addition, 211 out of 227 people in Biology, 504 out of 505 people in Bengali, 141 out of 157in Fine Arts and 252 out of 253 people have been selected in Religion, as per the health examination schedule.
