Irrfan Khan and Nusrat Imrose Tisha starrer Doob- No Bed of Roses is the only Bangladeshi film acted by the late Irrfan Khan. The film, released in 2017, was written and directed by Bangladeshi director Mostofa Sarwar Farooki.
Here, Irrfan Khan not only acted in a lead role but also was the co-director of the film. The film was produced by Abdul Aziz, Ashok Dhanuka and Himanshu Dhanuka. Other than Irrfan Khan and Tisha, the film also featured Rokeya Prachy, Parno Mitra and others.
The film initially suffered hits when it was not given censor clearance in Bangladesh. Doob had its world premiere at the Shanghai International Film Festival.
Later, after months of waiting the film was finally released in Bangladesh and India simultaneously. It received much acclaim from both local and foreign critics and also a number of prizes in the international arena.
