Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen called upon the expatriate Bangladeshis not to come back during this pandemic time if they are not forced by the host countries.
“Better days will come after the pandemic,” he said on Wednesday while inaugurating ‘Probash-Bondhu Call Center’ to provide health services to the expatriate Bangladeshis in Saudi Arabia.
He said the government through its missions would ensure food supply to those who need. He urged them to maintain health guidelines.
About 2.2 million expatriates in Saudi Arabia will get health services using the call center.
Expatriate doctors will give them service from 9am to 9pm. Such service is available in many other cities including London and New York, the foreign ministry. The Access to Information (a2i) and the ICT division jointly launched the service.
