Ayub Bachchu is a legendary guitarist and singer of Bengali band. In the early 90s he founded his own band LRB. He died on 18 October 2018.

Since then, it can be said that one of the most popular bands in the country has gone behind the discussion. However, it was heard that the current members of the band will bring LRB in front of the audience again with new members.

However, the family of Ayub Bachchu, the founder of LRB Band, has officially called on the band to not run any activities in the name of the band. The artiste’s two children, Fairuz Safra Ayub and Ahnaf Taywar Ayub, told the media in a press release on Monday (August 24th).

It has been said that from now on all the creations of Ayub Bachchu and the creation of 27 albums written, composed and sung by him alone as well as the activities called ‘LRB’ are completely illegal. Anyone doing so would be considered a violation of Bangladesh copyright law and it will be a punishable offense.

Ayub Bachchu’s wife Chandana told that the children have support this initiative. She said, “The children have grown up. Both are full grown. They can decide anything about their father. They want to preserve and preserve their father’s creation. I also applaud their initiative for this.”

His children said, “As an artist and creator of his music, my father was keen to copyright his creations a long time ago. After going through various ups and downs, he was almost at the final stage of registering the entire list of his songs as copyright. He has always fought to move forward legally and to ensure that artistes have rights and ownership.”

They further added, “With the untimely death of father, we as a family are moving towards realising an unfulfilled dream to fulfill his goal.

Despite all the adversity, my brother and I have now decided to finish his unfinished work smoothly. Our main goal now is to end his unfinished journey and ensure that no one gets a chance to abuse his ownership of his work.”
