Docu series 'Nater Guru' on BTV

In 1978, another brutal massacre took place in the history of the world in Bangladesh. Numerous soldiers were killed indiscriminately in the name of so-called or mysterious coup in the air force at that time.  

A father loses his beloved child, helpless mother could not even see the corpse of her son, and wife loses her husband. And the unborn child is still carrying the permanent wound, pain and the badge of the child of the traitor in the chest. 

General Ziaur Rahman, was an Army officer and the Chief of Army Staff, who served as the President of Bangladesh that time, who killed countless innocent soldiers in the name of so-called coup and mock trials to stay in power and leads a newly formed force to destruction. It still shudders the body, mind hearing all of those horrifying murders stories. Many events of that time are still unknown. 

These horrific murders stories has been brought up in a documentary series called 'Nater Guru' this time. What actually happened behind the so-called coup defeat on October 2, 1978 in the new air force and part of the army of Bangladesh? As long as this documentary has been made about the most stigmatized trials, genocides and struggles of the northern generation and their human rights. ‘Nater Guru’ will be aired on BTV every Thursday and Friday at 8.30 pm.
