Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) is going to procure 200 fogger machines, 150 hand spree machines and 40,000 liters pesticides at a cost of around Taka 5.32 crore from the local suppliers, reports BSS.

“The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs on Wednesday approved the purchase proposal to tackle dengue and Chikungunya,” Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal told journalists at the Secretariat in the capital on Wednesday afternoon. Considering the public interest, the finance minister said, DNCC will procure the machineries and pesticides under the Direct Procurement Method (DPM) and the whole process will be completed within the maximum one month.

Kamal said the government is working actively to ensure smooth living for the country’s people.
