To ensure hygiene for the city dwellers amid the novel coronavirus outbreak, Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) continues spraying germicide throughout the city for the sixth consecutive day, reports BSS.
The DMP is carrying out the disinfectant spraying programme by using eight water cannons in city’s eight areas — Ramna, Lalbagh, Wari, Mirpur,Gulshan, Uttara and Mothijheel — in two times on a day, a DMP release said on Monday. It said first of all, the work of spraying begins at 10 in the morning and continues till 12 at noon and later, it resumes at 4 pm and continues till 6 pm.
With the directives by DMP Commissioner M Shafiqul Islam, the Police will continue the antiseptic spraying drive till further notice. The DMP started its germicide spraying activities on March 25.
