Popular singer Dithi Anwar, daughter of legendary lyricist Gazi Mazharul Anwar, is not frequently seen to give her voice for play-back songs. But when she gave vocal for any play-back song that became popular. Recently, Dithi lent her voice for Nargis Akhter’s movie ‘Joiboti Konyar Mon’. She will sing three songs in the film.
Gazi Mazharul Anwar wrote lyrics of the songs. Sujeyo Shyam has composed its music. In this, Apu and Kiran Chandra Roy are co-starring Dithi in two of the songs titled ‘Aula Hawaye Baula Batash’ and ‘Kalo Jodi’ respectively.
Regarding the songs, Dithi Anwar said, "This song is a new addition to my career. I am glad that each of the songs is written by Abbu. And again I am very excited to work with Sujeyo Shyam Uncle. I am grateful for getting the opportunity. This is a great achievement of my life. I am also thankful to Abbu for inspiring me to do the job wonderfully.”
Meanwhile, today is Dithi’s birthday. She will celebrate the day along with her parents, husband and children together, she said. And will attend RTV's 'Tarkalap' programme at 10:40am.
Ditti also recently sang a song for 'Jin' directed by Nader Chowdhury. Besides singing, Dithi is also a TV presenter. She is a regular contributor on shows including RTV's ‘Ei Raat Tomar Amar’, Machharanga TV's ‘Icche Gaaner Dupur’, Channel I's 'Palki' and Ekushey TV's ‘Moner Moton Gaan’. In play-back, Dithi first gave her voice in her father directed a movie titled ‘Ulka’.
