Relief goods were distributed among 763 physically challenged people at the initiative of the District Administration in Thakurgaon on Friday evening.
At three essential places in the town food items including rice, pulses and potatoes were distributed among these persons with special needs.
At that time, the Deputy Commissioner of Thakurgaon Dr. KM Kamruzzaman Selim, Additional Deputy Commissioner Noor Qutubul Alam, officials of the District Social Services Department and district administration were present. Deputy Commissioner Dr. KM Kamruzzaman Selim advised recipients of the relief to stay in their homes.
