Distressed people in Joypurhat get winter clothes from police

With the individual assistance of the Superintend of Police (SP) of Joypurhat district, winter clothes have been disbursed among thirty thousand helpless and homeless winter stricken people. This noble act of the SP has set up an example among the common people of Joypurhat.  

Having experienced the various sorts of humanitarian activities of this kind hearted Police Super, the local people has been bound to change their contemporary concept about the Bangladesh Police. He has been able to draw the public attention through his voluntary initiatives that has brought huge praise with lot of love.   

Recently, just after joining as SP, he has set up a few humanitarian examples by doing different socials and humanitarian acts for the neglected and helpless people of the district. The people of various political, social and professional platforms have praised him highly for his such kind of services. 

For his humanitarian campaigns, a mail-born has been established between the police and the common people resulting in the change of public negative sentiment about the police.        

In the North Bengal including Joypurhat, the intensity of winter being increased for a few days, he individually took the initiatives of distributing the winter cloths. So, he along with some of the police officers from various ranks visited at dead of night in the bus-stand, railway station, in the slums, in the orphanage, and by the road sides of Joypurhat sadar, Kalai, Khetlal, Akkelpur, and Panchbibi and distributed winter cloths such as blanket, sweater and warm clothes.     

In this regard, Mohammad Nur-e Alom, SP of Joypurhat district, remarks when he sets out to visit by day or at night for his professional duties, he experiences different types of problems, irregularities, and sufferings of the people that make him emotional almost out of control. That is why; he has arranged and conducted such kind of humanitarian activities to remind the hopeless and helpless people about the generosity of the Bangladesh Police. He also says that Police has always been discharging their duties standing by the public and they will be in future. There are many well established people in our society if only they come forward willingly with a true nature of mind, the poverty not only in Joypurhat but also in the whole country will be reduced. He strongly believes that a wealthy individual has the ability to stand by the hundred people and in such a way the poverty of thousand people must be decreased. He urges to the well beings with vast of property of the society to come forward to help the poor living surround them for the betterment of the country.
