Bangabandhu Dustha Kalyan Sangstha will organize a discussion at the Jatiya Press Club (JPC) in the capital today (Monday), marking the 14th death anniversary of renowned nuclear scientist with international repute, Dr MA Wazed Miah.
Deputy Leader of Parliament and Awami League (AL) Presidium Member Matia Chowdhury will address the discussion as the chief guest at Mawlana Akram Khan Hall of the JPC at 10.30am, said a press release.
AL Presidium Member Advocate Qamrul Islam, Deputy Minister for Water Resources AKM Enamul Hoque Shameem and AL leader MA Karim will be present at the discussion as special guests. Renowned nuclear scientist and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's husband Dr MA Wazed Miah (Sudha Miah) died on May 9, 2009.
He was born on February 16, 1942 in a respectable Muslim family of Laldighee Fatehpur village in Pirganj upazila of Rangpur.
