A discussion on ‘responsibility in making Bangladesh smart’ was held in the conference room of DC office in Jhenaidah on Wednesday.
Jhenaidah DC Manira Begum attended the event as chief guest, while ADC (revenue) Rathindra Nath Roy presided over the discussion.
Jhenaidah SP Ashiqur Rahman, Jhenaidah Mayor Qayum Shahrier Zahedi Hizol, Jhenaidah district council executive officer Salim Reza and ADC (ICT) Arifur Rahman spoke on the occasion, among others.
District information officer Abu Bakar Siddique presented the key notes on “Smart Bangladesh: A New Era of Development”.
In her speech, Manira Begum said that each citizen now can realize the physibality of making Smart Bangladesh through her dynamic activities in past terms. “As we have faced the challenges of global havoc corona virus, we will be able to make our country a Smart one for a Sonar Bangla as desired by the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman,” she added.
