Discussion held on issues related to migrant workers in Brunei

Economic affairs analyst Mazadul Hoque recently spoke in the seminar in Brunei Darussa­lam as speaker. The Bangladesh High Commission of Brunei Darussalam organized the seminar titled “Issues Related to Migrant Workers in Brunei” where Bangladesh High Commissioner Ms Nahida Rahman Shumona was present as chairperson of the seminar, a press release said.

Md Mazadul Hoque is a guest lecturer of Chandigarh University, India. He writes articles, views, analyses on current economic issues in the country’s most read English language newspapers. He is a member of United Associations of Bangladesh ( UNAB) guided by Ministry of Foreign Affairs.  

Besides, he holds the prestigious position as member secretary of Bangladesh Columnists’ Forum ( BCF)- a platform of senior journalists, academics, researchers and economists specializing in commentaries on contemporary issues of a national and global nature.   He is an author of the book titled “Macroeconomic Issues: Bangladesh Perspective”.  

Ms Mahjabeen Khaled, former MP and current Secretary General of Parliamentarians’ Caucus on Migration & Development of Bangladesh Parliament also spoke in the seminar as guest of honor samong others.
