A disabled youth was crushed under the wheels of a passenger bus at village Utholi on Chuadanga-Jibannagar road in Jibannagar upazila of Chuadanga district on March 15 at about 6 pm.
The deceased was identified as Nurun Nabi, 17, son of Hashem Ali of village Singnagar in Jibannagar upazila of the district.
According to SM Jabid Hasan, OC of Jibannagar Police Station, the deceased was going to Uthuli Bus Stand from his home riding by-cycle, when he reached at the place, a Chuadanga bound passenger bus bearing No. Dhaka Metro-Ba-2408 hit the by-cycle, the cyclist fell down on the road, crushed him under wheels of the bus.
Locals put barricade the road for the accident. On information police rushed to the spot, took the situation under control, recovered the body and sent it to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital for postmortem. A case was filed with Jibannagar Police Station.
