A full length film 'Chiranjib Mujib', is being made based on the autobiography of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Director Jewel Mahmood is making the film under the banner of Haider Enterprise with the patronage of Sikder Group. The proceeds from the screening and advertisement of the film will be deposited with the Bangabandhu Memorial Trust.
In this film, the famous actress Dilara Zaman is playing the role of Bangabandhu's mother. The actress, who has been awarded Ekushey Padak and National Film Award, said they completed filming of her character in various locations in Manikganj recently.
Ahmed Rubel is playing the role of Bangabandhu in the film written by Nazrul Islam and Purnima is playing the role of Bangabandhu's wife.
Famous actress Dilara Zaman said, ‘I am very happy to be working in a movie made on the life of Bangabandhu. I will be seen on screen as Bangabandhu’s mother. I thank Sikder Group and everyone involved in the film for giving me the opportunity to act in such a role.’
