Bangladesh Postal Department has launched Digital Post Office Entrepreneur Monitoring Software to ensure digital services at the grassroots level. This software program was held on Wednesday in the meeting room of Chattogram Postmaster General.
Chattogram GPO Senior Postmaster Dr. Nizam Uddin presided over the program by Bangladesh Digital Post Office Entrepreneurs Forum Central Committee Chief Dipayan Sushil.
Dr. Jamal Pasha, Postmaster General of Chattogram Eastern Circle was the inaugural and chief guest. Special guests were Postal Attaché Md. Mizanur Rahman, Chattogram Postal Division Deputy Postmaster General Md. Mostafa Kamal.
Chattogram GPO Postmaster Sudeep Chakma, Nazmul Huda, APMG Tapas Chakma, Arun Vikas Chakma, Entrepreneurs Forum Central and various departmental leaders were present on the occasion.
The speaker said that to ensure digital services to the people of the country through this software, it will be easy for the Post Office and Postmaster General to sit in their offices to monitor the entrepreneurs across the country and help in increasing income by connecting the entrepreneurs with various services.
Additional Postmaster General (Dhaka) Mizanur Rahman said, to get good ideas, good works should be given importance. Those with big minds think about big ideas. Those who don't have work will always criticize. I was able to do this with the help of PMG sir in creating a digital entrepreneur website.
Postmaster General (East) Dr. Md. Kamal Pasha said, Post office postal entrepreneurs need to have an account. To provide policy support to postal employees through this software allowance, electricity bill, Agent banking, 244 post office information available There will be codes for postal entrepreneurs. It will be owned by the Directorate of Posts in consultation with the Ministry. Last year's income and current fiscal year's growth will be known. Economy turnover, customer service data, male and female data can be found.
206 crore deposits, 9 crore loans have been made by postal entrepreneurs in the last three months. Entrepreneurs are playing a role in Islami Bank, Asia Bank in this regard. In the future, more commercial banks will be involved in this work.
This portal is brought so that we can get all the information of postal entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurs will know all the scope of work, income information. Top 10 Entrepreneurs, Women Agents, Human Resource Development which will be known to Directorate of Posts, Postmaster, DG. I can take a plan by knowing the income and weakness of 16 upazilas in Chattogram district. It will provide policy support to entrepreneurs, which will improve their work.
