A day long Digital Innovation Fair-2022 has begun on the premises of Sadar upazila parishad with the slogan 'Udbhavani Joyollashe Smart Bangladesh' this morning.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Md Taufiq-e-Lahi Chowdhury inaugurated the fair as the chief guest with Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md Tauhidul Islam in the chair.
The chief guest said that this fair is organized to present the multifaceted activities of various departments of the government and to extend the process of providing services to the public. Innovative activities of various departments and efforts to deliver services at people's doorsteps are being focused here, he said
The government has taken initiatives to achieve the sustainable goals of Digital Bangladesh by 2030 and build Smart Bangladesh by 2041. The government is working to increase technology skills, create innovation and connect people with technology, he said. Upazila Parishad Vice-Chairman Md Yunus, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md Ali Suja, Upazila Awami League General Secretary Nazrul Islam Goldar, Upazila Agriculture Officer Md Riazuddin, among others, were present on the occasion. A total of 24 stalls of various government departments, educational institutions, NGOs and other institutions participated in fair.
