‘Tungiparar Miya Bhai’ is the first movie starring actress Dighi. Dighi has played the role of Begum Fazilatunnesa Mujib in this movie directed by Shamim Ahmed Rony. Dighi said that the work of the movie has already been completed.
Growing up from a young age, Dighi is considering getting the opportunity to play the role of Begum Fazilatunnesa Mujib in her first film as a very big achievement.
Dighi said, “In the beginning, I was scared that I would not be able to pull off the character. But the director put his trust in me. Also, the director and my father have supported me a lot. My father also worked in this movie so my father was able to cooperate with me. The whole unit helped me a lot. That’s why I have tried my best to portray such a big character. I can’t say how it went, I have to wait for the audience’s verdict.”
Meanwhile, Dighi said she is going to start work on two new movies next month. One is Delwar Jahan Jhontu’s ‘Tumi Acho Tumi Nei’. In this movie though Bappi Chowdhury started working opposite Dighi. However, he has already removed himself from acting in this movie. Soon Jhontu will finalize a new hero opposite Dighi.
She is also going to start work on the movie ‘Joggo Shontan’ directed by Kazi Hayat next month. She will be opposite Shanto in the film.
Meanwhile, today is Dighi’s birthday. There is no special arrangement around the special day. However, Dighi said she would spend time with friends.
As a child artiste, Dighi’s on-screen debut was through acting in advertisements and movies. He has not done any work since 2012. After a long eight-year hiatus, Dighi returned to the cinema as a heroine. Her dream is to establish herself as a good actress to fulfill her mother’s dream.
