Inclusive and phonics training prize distribution ceremony organized by Dhaka University Branch of Physically Challenged Development Foundation (DUPDF) was held on Thursday at RC Majumder Arts Auditorium. Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md Akhtaruzzaman attended the event as the chief guest and handed over awards to the training participants.
President of DUPDF Tanveer Ahmed Tanmoy presided over the ceremony, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education) of Dhaka University. ASM Maqsood Kamal, TK Group Director of Marketing Mofazzal Haque and moderator of the organization Tawhida Jahan were present as special guests. The program was conducted by the general secretary of the organization, Mashrifa Tarannum.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman thanked those concerned for organizing this training and said that the members of Dhaka University branch of Physically Challenged Development Foundation have been conducting various activities in building an inclusive society. The role of audiologists is very important in building an inclusive society by mainstreaming visually impaired students. He expressed hope that the recorders would become more skilled and experienced through this training.
