The Diabetic Awareness Day was observed under the auspices of Chuadanga Diabetic Samity on Friday by holding rally, discussion and other programmes.
Riajul Islam Joarder Toton, president of the Samity presided over, discussion. It was addressed, among others, by Advocate Mohammad Shamsuzzuha, general secretary of the samity, Munsi Alamgir Hannan, organising secretary of district awamileague, Shidul Islam Shahan, general secretary of Red Crescent Society and Dr. Mizanur Rahman, medical officer of Chuadanga Diabetic Hospital.
The rally was brought out in the district town and paraded the main roads of the town. Later, diabetic patients were detected on the premises of the diabetic hospital at free of cost.
