Diabetes Awareness Day was observed under the supports of Chuadanga District Diabetic Association on Sunday. A colourful rally was brought out and discussion meeting was held on the occasion.
The rally paraded the main roads of the town with the participation of diabetes patients, staff members of Chuadanga Diabetic Center, lifetime members of the association, local journalists and health workers.
The discussion meeting titled ‘COVID and Diabetes’ was held at the conference room of Diabetic Association. Reajul Islam Joarder Toton, President of Chuadanga
Diabetic Association and Joint Secretary of District Awami League presided over the discussion.
Munsi Alamgir Hanna, Organising Secretary of District Awami League, Advocate Md Shamsuzzoha, General Secretary of the association, Shahidul Islam Shahan, Secretary of Chuadanga Red Crescent Society, Dr Mustak Rahman Joarder and Dr Mizanur Rahman addressed the meeting among others.
Adv Aksijul Islam Roton recited verses from the Quran while, Adv. Shasuzzoha conducted all sessions.
