Dhaka, the 11th most populous megacity in the world, turns into a ghost city at night as the hustle and bustle of the ever-busy capital city has come to a stop since the government imposed a countrywide lockdown, suspending all kinds of public transport, to prevent coronavirus (COVID 19) outbreak.

The city, as if, now really sleeps at night. While visiting the city on Thursday night, a calm, quiet and peaceful situation was seen prevailing across the city. Now, the world’s most unlivable city seems a beautiful one where eye-catching beauty of lights and traffic free roads may attract the dwellers.

But alas! It is a time to stay home and maintain social distancing to thwart the deadly virus that claimed thousands of life around the world. In the wake of the situation, like others countries in the world, the Bangladesh government took the decision to go on a lockdown in a bid to control the spread of virus.
