.Delta Life Insurance has paid more than Tk 320 crore as total claims during the period of January to June this year. During this period 31,282 individuals received maturity claims, 1,304 families were provided with the death benefit and 12,183 individuals received benefits for health care services.
As many as 31,282 individuals received Maturity Claims of Tk 151 Crore, 1304 families were provided with the Death Benefit amounting to Tk 5.92 crore. Delta Life has also rendered health care expenses claims of 12183 individuals amounting to Tk 14.92 crore.
“The strong corpus of Life Fund of Tk 3878 crore demonstrates our ability to pay Claims as and when due and we shall always abide by our underlying principle of protecting policyholders’ interest at all times,” says Adeeba Rahman, CEO, Delta Life who has been conferred with the “Women in Insurance Leadership” Award this year.
