Today is the 25th death anniversary of Rokeya Begum, mother of Hasan Jahid Tusher, a deputy press secretary to the Prime Minister.
She died on this day in 1994 leaving behind her husband, four sons, two daughters and a host of relatives and admires.
On this occasion, recitation from the holy Quran, special prayers and food distribution among the poor have been organized at the deceased’s Sreerampur village home in Magura.
Tusher has sought dua for the salvation of the departed soul of his late mother.
