As part of an initiative of reducing sufferings of cold-hit distressed people of the country, Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) under its CSR activities, every year donates warm clothes and blanket to different social organizations and trade bodies for distributing those to the distressed people of different parts of the country. DCCI President Osama Taseer handed over the warm clothes and blankets to the representatives of Dinajpur Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Nilphamari Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Lalmonirhat Chamber of Commerce & Industry, The Chapai Nawabganj Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Anjuman Mofidul Islam, Dhaka Mohanagar Samity, Dhaka Shilpo Malik Samity, Mizbah-ul Ulum Madrasha, Moitree Sangha, Hossai Ali-Hasna Welfare Foundation etc. The DCCI President called upon all well-to-do people of the society to stay beside the cold-hit distressed people across the country especially in this winter season. DCCI Vice President Imran Ahmed, Directors Shams Mahmud, Mohammad Bashiruddin, Hossain A Sikder, Alhaj Deen Mohammad, Enamul Haque Patwary, former Senior Vice President Alhaj Abdus Salam, former Vice Presidents M Abu Horairah, Absar Karim Chowdhury were also present during the time of blanket distribution.
